PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2022 - present
Michael Fiore Creative, Executive Creative Director
As a senior creative director and art director, I thrive on helping brands of all sizes craft their most provocative stories. I’ve developed campaigns for national brands such as Intel, Dignity Health, Toyota, Los Angeles Times, and Samsung. I’ve even created a talking-pet TV campaign for Chewy. I love fostering teams and helping younger creatives do the best work of their careers. Let’s create something amazing together!

2020 - 2022
Eleven Inc., San Francisco, Creative Director
Accounts: CommonSpirit Health/Dignity Health, Samsung
During my second time at Eleven, I was a co-creative director on the CommonSpirit/Dignity Health brands overseeing campaign creation in broadcast, video, social engagements, and digital and traditional media. Other CD duties at Eleven included working on Samsung, where I worked with teams to develop Samsung's mobile brand campaigns. In addition to directing teams at Eleven, I co-developed campaigns for Visa, a Covid vaccination effort for the Golden Gate Symphony, and brought to life “Sage the Owl” a TV and OOH campaign for Western Governor's University.

2019 - 2020
Michael Fiore Creative, Freelance Creative Consultant
Freelance creative director/art director. I help brands connect with consumers through honesty and passion. In May 2020, I served as Senior Creative Director at The Hatch, Cisco Inc.'s internal marketing agency. I co-managed a team of approximately 15, shaping both internal and external communications for the brand. Additionally, I contributed to Cisco’s corporate social responsibility initiatives through creative film projects, including one for Replate, a Bay Area organization that collects surplus food from businesses and delivers it to nonprofits serving communities in need.

2015 - 2019
mcgarrybowen, San Francisco, Global Group Creative Director
Accounts: Intel, Hallmark
At mcgarrybowen San Francisco I was primarily responsible for the creative content and execution of Intel’s global advertising campaigns and subsequent films, including the work for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. I worked closely with teams in San Francisco and New York and helped to establish new working relationships within mcgarrybowen’s global offices for the Intel brand, a first for the company. Through this work, I was able to oversee the development of Intel brand campaigns that were culturally relevant in seven global markets: North America, EMEA, Mexico, Brazil, India, China & Southern Asia.

I also led new business opportunities for our San Francisco office for both the Hallmark and TE electronics brands. We won both accounts and our Hallmark campaign entitled “#CareEnough” garnered industry awards in 2017.

2013 - 2014
Y&R California, San Francisco, Executive Creative Director
Accounts: Crystal Cruises, Blue Diamond Almonds, BMC Software, San Disk, Citrix
At Y&R CA I was part of the senior creative management team creating and overseeing work on all of the agency’s clients except for Chevron. A big part of my role at Y&R was mentoring younger teams by empowering them with new ways of problem-solving and helping them to effectively present their work to senior management and clients.

2009 - 2011
Eleven, Inc., San Francisco, Associate Creative Director / Creative Director
Accounts: AAA, Visa, San Francisco Visitors Bureau, Carmel Valley Ranch, Joint Juice, Callaway, Apple
At Eleven Inc. I was an associate creative director working on a variety of the agency’s clients. I helped create, develop, and oversee print and online campaigns as well as tv commercials and brand films.
